[00:00:03] Hello, hello, hello and welcome to the English input and output podcast. With this podcast, you can easily practice listening to natural English every day.

[00:00:14] Please check my website. If you want to read the transcript for this episode.

[00:00:25] So today I wanna talk about morning routines. For example, what do you do every morning? What time do you often wake up? When do you start working? That sort of thing.

[00:00:41] As for me, I'm definitely a morning person. Even if it's a weekend, I will always wake up around six or 7:00 AM every morning. I don't use an alarm clock, but I naturally want to wake up around six or seven.

[00:01:01] Anyway, after checking the time on my phone, I get up and go to the kitchen to make breakfast.

[00:01:09] And recently I don't eat a lot in the morning. I usually just have cereal, coffee and a piece of fruit. So it only takes me about three or four minutes to make breakfast.

[00:01:22] Then, while eating breakfast. I often read the news about the UK and Japan.

[00:01:28] But honestly, I don't really like reading the news too much nowadays because you know, it's always just bad news, after bad news. Right?

[00:01:38] For example, COVID-19.. Lockdown.. The Taliban and things like that.

[00:01:45] If I read these kinds of topics, it puts me in a bad mood.

[00:01:50] And after that I'll brush my teeth and get to work on my business. That's usually around seven or 7:30 AM. I'll continue doing that until about 10:00 AM.

[00:02:04] At 10:00 AM. I'll get ready for work. So first I'll take a shower and do my skincare routine.

[00:02:12] Then I'll dry myself off and get dressed. Actually, I don't spend a lot of time choosing clothes as all my clothes are pretty much the same. It sounds a little boring, but it's very convenient.

[00:02:28] For example, I never have to worry about what to wear every day.

[00:02:34] But anyway, yeah, after getting dressed, I'll set up my MacBook and the microphone and begin teaching my students.

[00:02:43] I'll teach until about four or 5:00 PM UK time, which is around midnight in Japan. And I usually have a 30 minute lunch break at some point during the day.

[00:02:55] Anyway, this podcast is about morning routines, so I will leave the rest of my daily routine for another podcast. Maybe.

[00:03:04] Would people even be interested in that? Is that something you want to listen to? Let me know in the comments if you're watching this on YouTube or shoot me an email on my website.

[00:03:17] Or if there's any other topics you want me to talk about, then please let me know. This is just the first podcast, so I have a lot of topics planned already, but please send me your suggestions.

[00:03:30] Or if you have a question, I'll answer it in a later episode.

[00:03:34] But how about you? Are you a morning person? When do you usually wake up? What do you often do in the morning? I would like to know. So please tell me about your morning routine too.

[00:03:48] Anyway, I think that's all for now. Thanks for listening guys. I hope this podcast will help you improve your listening skills.

[00:03:56] See you next time and have a good one.
